TEST See the making of a dance performance!
TEST Join us behind the scenes of the new performance Mitridate, with music by W.A. Mozart, choreography by Fernando Melo and direction by Ralf Pleger, premiering at The royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen.
Experience some of the creative work behind this season's grand-scale dance performance, a collaboration across Öresund, joining dance and opera as well as The Royal Danish Opera, Malmö Opera, chamber orchestra Concerto Copenhagen and Skånes Dansteater.
Open rehearsal is not the finished performance, but instead it allows you to experience at close hand the intimacy of the work being done by the choreographer and the dancers. Interactive, we often end the rehearsal with an opportunity for you to ask the artists any questions you might have concerning the production 'Mitridate' or dance in general.
For this performance Fernando Melo is creating choreography for nineteen dancers and seven opera soloists together with director Ralf Pleger. Follow their process leading up to the premiere in April.
The rehearsal will be held in English.
