Follow the work behind a dance performance and meet choreographer Carl Knif, our dancers and Moomsteatern's actors.
Take a peek beind the scenes and see some of the intense work leading up to the premiere of 'Aniara'. 'Aniara' i a performance that mixes dance and theatre. It is based on the book of the same name by Swedish author Harry Martinson. It is the first time that Moomsteatern and Skånes Dansteater create a performance together.
How do you create a performance?
What is it like to work as a dancer and an actor? Our open rehearsals give you the opportunity to get a close look into the artistic process where the elements of the performance are tested, developed and refined. That everyday life of both choreographers, our dancers and actors at Moomsteatern. Open rehearsal is not the finished performance, but a chance to follow the work behind the scenes.
Open rehearsal consists of about 45 minutes of rehearsals and ends with about 15 minutes of Q&A where you have the opportunity to ask questions to the choreographer or our dancers about the upcoming performance 'Aniara' or their artistry. To secure your place, you need to book a ticket, but the tickets are free of charge.
