Skånes Dansteater's first dance film festival. In collaboration with Malmö Scenfest.
Come and celebrate of the art of movement on screen. In this festival, you will have the opportunity to watch around 20 short films divided into three sets, featuring both new works from the recent year and favourites from previous years. These films showcase the diversity and creativity of dance film as a genre, as well as the talent and vision of our filmmakers and dancers.
Skånes Dansteater’s dance film production started in earnest during the COVID-19 pandemic, as a way to adapt to the challenges and limitations of the situation. Since then, it has become a flourishing part of the organisation, producing more films every year that are being sent out and taking part in festivals around the world. Skånes Dansteater proudly share the results of passion and commitment, and hope they can bring inspiration to your Malmö Scenfest experience.
