A dance workshop inspired by 'In Wind or Dust' by choreographers Danae & Dionysios.
In our Sunday workshops we spend the day delving into contemporary dance and the choreography of our performances. This is an opportunity for you to explore techniques and material from our current performances together with our dancers.
How does the creative process behind a performance evolve? In our Sunday workshops we share insight into the choreographers' and dancers' work in the making of movement material.
About Sunday in Wind or Dust
Young Greek choreography duo Danae & Dionysios are spring 2024 creating a dreamlike work inspired by the poet and environmental activist Kawa Niangji. In the performance 'In Wind or Dust' magical creatures come alive by the words Kawa Niangji left behind in a dusty notebook. In this Sunday workshop our dancers Jing Yi Wang and Fabrizio di Franco share insight into the production and the creative process from a dancer's perspective.
'In Wind or Dust' is a humoristic and colorful piece, full of force. A search for a human being's most sacred quality, the love for life. The performance premieres on February 29, 2024 at Skånes Dansteater.
