Dance your way into the summer night with us!
Lions cubs and jazz clubs, mourning elephants and evening elegance. Our new dance performance 'Going Steady' is a playful exposé into the relationships and courting rituals of humans and animals.
Five dancers make their way through exciting beginnings, sad ending and everything in between, whilst being accompanied by a sprinkling of summer jazz.
Choreographer and dancer Liam Francis won the Skånes Dansteater Production Prize 2022 at RIDCC - Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition. This summer the prize is realized in the production 'Going Steady'
"an in the smallest detail well-composed production, vivaciously and excitedly interpreted by the five dancers. A summery feel-good pill, which I hope many will come to enjoy."
wouldn’t it be fun to express your interest in a mate through a collection of shiny objects and a flamboyant dance, just like the Flame Bower bird?
