Fabio Liberti

Fabio Liberti graduated from Codarts, Rotterdam Dance Academy and has presented his independent works at numerous international venues and festival throughout Europe.
He was commissioned to create pieces for Danish Dance Theatre (Denmark), Dark Circles Contemporary Dance (Texas), Mainfranken Theater Würzburg (Germany), Landesbühnen Sachsen (Germany), EDGE Dance Company (UK), MIR Dance Company Gelsenkirchen (Germany), Northern School of Contemporary Dance (UK) and Landerer&Company (Germany).

His works have received prizes, such as 1st prize and NORRDANS Production Prize at RIDCC-Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition 2018 (Holland); 1st prize at Skopje DansLab 2017 (North Macedonia) and 2nd prize at Solo Dance Contest in Gdansk (Poland); 1st prize at Warsaw Zawirowania Dance 2016 (Poland); the Critic Award at Hannover International Choreography Competition 2014 (Germany) and the 3rd prize at CICC-Copenhagen International Choreography
Competition 2013 (Denmark).

Fabio’s works were shown as well at the main Danish Museums: Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Charlottenborg Museum and Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art.
In 2020 Fabio funded his own company MUOVI based in Copenhagen and presented his full independent productions ’#ASIFILOOKEDLIKEME’ (2020) and ’As, If I have missed myself’ (2022) and ’What did I just do?’ (2022) supported by Statens Kunstfond, Bora Bora Dans & Visuelt Teater and Dansehallerne (Denmark).
