Erika Silgoner

Erika Silgoner is an Italian choreographer with a background in classical ballet. Later in her career she began exploring hiphop culture and contemporary dance and she is now an internationally sought after choreographer. In 2015 she founded her own dance company Esklan Art’s Factory presenting her original creations in Italy, France, Bulgaria, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Panama, Poland, Spain and Brazil.

2022 Erika created a choreography for the Olympic Games in Beijing 2022 and a new work for Scapino Ballet in Rotterdam. 2017 Erika was awarded Best choreographer at the International Solo Tanz Festival in Stuttgart. 2021 she won the XL prize and Skånes Dansteater’s production prize at the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition thus she is creating ’Wild Fellas’ which toured Skåne and Sweden during the summer.
